This shot was taken at the 60th Anniversary show July 2008

We have tried to emulate the same scene from a similar position, although the area has obviously been extensively redeveloped we think we got somewhere near !.

What a pity most of the old buildings have now gone forever.

The focal point are the famous "Black Sheds" in the distance, 

parked in front is Air India's new Boeing 777-337ER, VT-ALN

along side is the Catalina (Canadian Vickers PBY-5A Canso), flying boat G-PBYA

In the foreground is Air Atlantique's Douglas DC-6A Liftmaster  G-APSA nicely done up in British Eagle livery
